These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in Foresight'26. By registering for the Event, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Event" means Foresight'26, to be held in London on February 4-5, 2026
- "Organiser" means Payments Foresight Limited, trading as Foresight
- "Participant" means any individual registered to attend the Event
- "Registration" means the formal acceptance of a Participant by the Organiser to attend the Event
2. EVENT PARTICIPATION
2.1 The Event is an invitation-only gathering for senior executives in the payments industry. Registration is subject to approval by the Organiser.
2.2 All Participants must be 18 years or older and must meet the eligibility criteria as communicated by the Organiser.
2.3 Registration is personal to the Participant and cannot be transferred. Substitutions are not permitted due to the exclusive nature of the Event.
3. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
3.1 Payment:
- All major payment methods are accepted
- Payment must be made in full at the time of registration
- Payment by invoice can be requested, but places are not secured until payment is received
3.2 Cancellation by Participant:
- Full refund if cancelled more than 90 days before the Event
- 50% refund if cancelled between 90 and 60 days before the Event
- No refund if cancelled less than 60 days before the Event
- As per clause 2.3, transfer of registration is not possible
4. EVENT CHANGES OR CANCELLATION
4.1 The Organiser reserves the right to:
- Change the Event format, content, speakers, or venue
- Reschedule or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, government regulations, civil unrest, or terrorism
4.2 In the event of changes or cancellation:
- Participants will be notified via the email address provided during registration
- For cancellation by the Organiser, Participants will receive a full refund of registration fees
- The Organiser shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by Participants including travel and accommodation
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT
5.1 All intellectual property rights in Event materials remain with the Organiser or the respective speakers.
5.2 Participants may use insights and learnings from the Event for their own business purposes but may not commercialize or republish Event content without prior written consent.
5.3 Photography, filming, and recording at the Event is permitted only with the Organiser's prior written consent.
5.4 Participants grant the Organiser permission to use their image and likeness in Event photography and recordings for promotional purposes.
6. CONDUCT AND CONFIDENTIALITY
6.1 Participants agree to:
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Respect the confidentiality of discussions at the Event
- Not engage in any promotional or sales activities without the Organiser's consent
- Not engage in behavior that could reasonably be considered harassing, abusive, or disruptive
6.2 Discussions at the Event are conducted under Chatham House Rule, allowing participants to use information received but not reveal the identity or affiliation of speakers or other participants.
6.3 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any Participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, with no refund provided.
7. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
7.1 The Organiser's total liability for any claims arising from the Event shall be limited to the registration fee paid by the Participant.
7.2 The Organiser shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits, business, or opportunities
- Personal property damage or loss
- Personal injury unless caused by the Organiser's negligence
7.3 Participants are advised to arrange their own travel insurance.
8. DATA PROTECTION
8.1 The Organiser complies with UK data protection legislation including GDPR requirements.
8.2 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Organiser's Privacy Policy available at www.paymentsforesight.com.
8.3 Participant information will be used to:
- Process registrations and payments
- Communicate Event information
- Create an attendee list that may be shared with other Participants and partners
- Send future communications about Foresight events (with opt-out options)
8.4 Participants may opt-out of marketing communications at any time.
9. HEALTH AND SAFETY
9.1 Participants must comply with all health and safety measures communicated by the Organiser or venue.
9.2 Participants are responsible for informing the Organiser of any special requirements, accessibility needs, or dietary restrictions.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
10.1 The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
